(( I know it's not the norm, just trying to save Fenris from having to pantomime to communicate with the rest off us for the rest of the campaign also I just gained 2 languages because wizards gain 2 languages for every point of INT modifier. I'd be willing to burn 2 language slots for the cause if needed.)

For one language slot I'll let you learn "Planetary Common (Beginner)." You can communicate basic ideas through a mix of words you've learned, grunts, and gestures. Advanced ideas, idioms, etc are beyond your reach, and it's clear that Kith will have to "speak down" to you for you to understand them. Any further proficiency in the language will have to be learned through role play.

At first level and above, the rules say initiative is per character, right? But that might be overly complicated for play by post, I guess. Anyway, here are three rolls: First, Nurzual (or my whole crew if we’re doing initiatives by player), then Qort, then Brandybland.
Nurzual: 6 minus 1 is 5 (if for the group, this should be 6 plus 1 equals 7 due to Qort having the highest s Agility modifier.)
Qort: 10 plus 1 is 11

As Toby begins to grow in size, Duke has visions of cybernetic Kith warriors marching forth from a pyarmid-shaped building, in perfect synchronization. Silvery cords run down their spines, and they have strange visors. Their armor is stamped with a symbol that, even in a strange language, you understand: "House Memniscene".
Lucius heals Havarth for the HP.

Havarths' attack misses the nearest Cyber Zombie
Qort converts to a new religion!
Nurzual sends a shockwave of color, the blinds the two Cyber Zombies for 3 rounds.
The two blind Cyber Zombies stumble forward and attack a random "square" of the battlefield:
Both swing at empty air.
The third Cyber Zomie tries to rend Nurzual's flesh: (attack roll is 6). And misses.
Toby's attack... also misses.
Kelven stumbles through the dark and finds a crate that is nailed shut. He can attempt a strength check to open it, or he can keep searching.
Brandybland is able to conceal herself in some of the rubble inside the castle.

I've edited Blackthorn into the action list however, it's time to introduce ANCIENT KITH RUNES.

Emboldened by the success of his first spell, Nurzual attempts to unleash another Color Spray with a shouted, "Refracto Zaplam!"
18 plus 2 is 20 ... up to 3 targets can be affected ... but blind creatures are immune, so only the one unblinded zombie has to save, assuming it is more than 2 HD. (If 2 HD or less, it's automatically affected.) Two will saves: failing 1 = blinded 2d4+1 rounds, failing both = blinded and unconscious 2d4+1 rounds.
Since the eye ship is falling behind, Qort attempts to Detect Magic in hopes of finding more shards to power our vessel. His roll is 11, minus 1 is 10, a failure. Berenedril appears unwilling to invest much energy in his new follower just yet.
If the Color Spray knocks the last zombie unconscious, Brandybland will creep from her hiding spot and attempt to do away with the creature as it lies helpless. This will allow her +1d for its helplessness, and her roll on the d30 is 12. She rolls a 1 for damage if that's a hit. (But if the zombie makes at least one save and remains a threat, she'll stick to her hiding place, since cowering seems to be working well at the moment.)

When Blackthorn pushes the 4th rune, a gauge on the Death Ray lowers. You may have lowered the power output by pressing that rune.
