Crawljammer fanzine -- feedback

I recently bought a subscription to Crawljammer and thought it would be nice to have a thread where folks could leave comments and suggestions.

Overall, I enjoyed issue #1. I like the fact that there are some scifi and planetary romance style resources for DCC, since the core RPG doesn't really address those genres much.

I like the fact that I get both PDF and print copies. That's a nice perk and allows me to print off specific parts if I want them.

Great job so far! My only objection is that the text goes pretty close to the edge of the page. Not such a problem on the outer pages, but sometimes the text gets really close to the fold and staple near the center.

Anyone else have any thoughts about Crawljammer?

In three words: I love it.

I mean, I know, it's a little early in the game, what with only a single issue out and all, but I am really jazzed by the advent of Crawljammer, and it is going to help satisfy a Leigh Brackett/Edgar Rice Burroughs/C L Moore/Andre Norton/Jack Williamson/Frederic Brown itch that reading all this Appendix N fiction created.

Issue #1 was cool. I don't know if my the setting would appeal to my player's tastes, but it is a great idea.

We played a lot of Spelljammer back in the day.

How close is Crawljammer to that? I hope it's more than just ELVESSSS IN SPACE!

The Appendix N vibe of Crawljammer is pretty clear. It seems to deal with more ERB-style planetary action than 2e D&D-style.

Yeah, the "jammer" in the title may evoke images of Spelljammer, but so far the content doesn't remind me much of that setting. Much more like ERB and others.

I'd like to chime in as well, Crawljammer has been a fun read and I like the lizardman mercenary class a bunch! Great work, Tim!
