Have DCC got in touch with the new zochi dice guys to see if the will do a special DCC RPG set? Preferably with a d7? I reckon pretty much everyone who buys the game would get a set!

Yes, if the set is opaque (as opposed to translucent), solid colors (as opposed to speckled or whatnot), and inked. I like my dice to be easily readable.
Click here to purchase my five AD&D modules.
Each of these modules is self-contained. No other books are required other than the three AD&D rulebooks (or a similar set of rules if you prefer).
Click here to purchase prints of Luigi Castellani's cover art for these modules.

Yeah, I can't stand the translucent ones.

Agreed. I have a really hard time reading them. When I bought my dice set with all of the wacky ones in it I chose some ghastly "glow in the dark" green instead of clear translucent. I just can't handle those clear ones. :(

Me either. Translucent = Headache (to me).

All my dice are opaque. Except the ones I throw at the players. Primarily because it's harder for them to see the translucent ones coming...

(Just kidding. I've never thrown dice at players. Though, Yog knows, I've wanted to a couple of times.)

Ah, stealth dice. Or dice with a cloaking device! :P

I think they ended up with GameStation. Dice sets can be had on Amazon pretty readily.

There's another solution that I didn't anticipate prior to my games at GaryCon. Two players had digital dice rollers (one ipad, one smart phone). Their dice roller apps handled all the "weird dice" with no trouble whatsoever. So while it may not be as cool as having wicked sharp zocchi dice in hand, it is a cost-effective solution for gamers who already bring electronics to the table, or for folks wanting to try the beta without investing in the dice.
