DCC #34 Cage of Delirium

Post by Drone »

I saw that DCC #34 would be available in August (the one with the Midnight Syndicate CD soundtrack). Will it be available at Gen Con? I'm going and would love to pick it up then.

Joseph, from the press release, I couldn't tell how integrated the music is with the adventure itself. Will the CD be anything more than just accompanyment or does it connect to the gameplay more directly?

The CD is directly involved with the module. Every room in the adventure starts off with something like, "Play track X. After the PCs fight the monster/open the door/trigger the trap/etc, play track Y."

That's sweet.
I play in a twice-yearly, weekend-long campaign where the GM scores the entire game. It sounds like a bit of frippery, but a good soundtrack adds a TON to an adventure.
I'll be picking this one up.
