Revised Timeline
Other suggestions: To further add to the horror, you may want to avoid any attacks or combat on the grounds and wait until the characters enter the asylum. Once inside, the doors and windows magically seal until the mystery of the asylum is solved. Alternatively, you could magically seal the iron ga...

First, the module is top notch! One of GG's best. This 100% fits the bill for what your looking for. Second, it could be run in a single night depending on your players. I would say it has about eight to ten hours of play time. Third, I just logged on to comment about how this very module would make...

I answered my own question.
A careful examination of the map of the north, and some reading gave me this: Just like in the Forgotten Realms, Aereth has a frosty north populated by many barbarian tribes called "the Frost Barrens." There is a mountain range south of the Kingdom of Luthea called the Dunerain Mountains, ...

Undermountain in Aereth?
Well, next month my favorite dungeon crawl of all time makes it to 3.5e. This gets me thinking about placing Waterdeep and Undermountain in Aereth. http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=products/fracc/957327200 One of the fun thing about UM was all the teleports and how they spurred so many adventure...

Locations for 1E modules on Aereth
Has anyone done this yet? "Vault of the Drow" seems like that would be real easy, as would all of the "Underdeep" stuff. What about the "Giant's" series, or "Aerie of the Slavelords", "Temple of Elemental Evil", "The Tomb of Horrors", Etc. ...

1E modules
Actually, I think it would be easier to move the old 1E modules to Aereth than to try to "shoehorn" whole Greyhawk nations and cultures to Aereth. There are enough similar stuff that I don't think it would be any issue at all to move the modules to Aereth.
