Re: Our Experiences with DCC #29, adventure Forgotten Sentin
Alright, so Jerec gets the bag over my new friends head. Let me preface this by saying that when I started playing these types of games jediore told me to play my people as I would and putting a bag over somethings face blinding it hopefully seemed like a great idea. I am always looking for tricks l...

Re: Our Experiences with DCC #29, adventure Forgotten Sentin
Hello all. Like Jedi said we had a blast with this adventure. My assassin/thief Hush (who I kinda modeled after Sam Fisher for you Splinter Cell gamers) is contacted by a noble man to investigate a scholar that he sent to learn more about a prophecy. The nobleman is the last living relative in line ...

Re: JediOre's gang attempted a funnel 0-level game
I remembered something else that goes with the luck. I like how it gets specific on the type of damage. Like a broken leg or fractured skull. That is cool.

Re: JediOre's gang attempted a funnel 0-level game
I liked the game overall. I found the luck factor interesting but the part about it affecting a 20 roll in the negative was not good. You should never be penalized for rolling a 20. Never. I did not mind starting out at such a low level but some of the occupations were pretty lame. Ditch digger? Far...

It was Ragnar1965 that came up with the plan to use the bodies.

Re: DCC #46, The Temple’s Tribute—My C&C game.
When I saw that hole in the roof and that structure I was pretty sure that is where this energy was coming from. I also figured a structure that important would be well guarded by tough customers not red shirts. As for the tactics of getting in, I knew we had to take care of skeleton boy outside whi...

Re: DCC #46, The Temple’s Tribute—My C&C game.
I didn't like that part of the adventure. Being pinned down from above is not a favorite of mine. I didn't think I came up with a very good strategy very clumsy but it worked. If I had to do it over I would have stayed underneath the towers a little longer and been more patient. I didn't feel our el...

“A dark crimson mist fills the room before you. The mist glows ominously, and seems to swallow up all light that comes in contact with it. You can’t make out anything more than a few feet in front of you, but the stomach-churning stench of blood hangs heavily in the damp air.” This reminded me of t...

Ah the mercy date........ I am tired of falling down holes in caves, barns and now stairs. How do you fall through stairs? What kind of Ranger am I? A dusty sheet flung itself off a shelf and the door slams shut with the lady PCs outside. Nightwing hated this encounter. His ranger could not use anyt...

We all have to start some place. :) Your PCs will probably be too high in level by the time the adventure comes out, but I've written in an parrying dagger --- a companion-blade to Whisker --- into a little adventure that will be out in 2008. And as for Mouser ... http://public.poisonclanpress.fast...

Re: Conclusion of level two
To Ragnar1965 I wrote his PC briefly saw an eye open on the back of Nightwing’s PC’s neck. The moment the eye saw someone watching it, the eye closed. This event occurred in less than two seconds. The eye was pretty freaky. If anyone ever watched Babylon 5 in the later seasons there was on alien th...
