Re: Placing Castle Whiterock in the Wilderlands
Not aware of anyone at present using DCCs in the Wilderlands setting ... then again ... there is still an ample supply of old Judges Guild fodder from way back when that has never made it back around into publication during the last attempt to jump start things. Might be a good question to ask on th...

Re: Supporting multiple systems within the DCC's
I did like the suggestion of a DCC RPG. Considering the setting is already in place it might not be a bad idea ... tho' admittedly you would most likely face stiff competition in this arena from Pathfinder, True20, etc. unless you truly have something unique to offer. Perhaps there is a happy mediu...

Re: Supporting multiple systems within the DCC's
Diversification of the product line is always a good idea; however, I am not certain that adhering to a 4E base design with downloadable stats for previous versions would necessarily work as an all around solution for the majority of the potential customer base. In part due to the potential amount o...

When inspiration is needed ... I have been turning to Google Books lately for some real world references and thought the following might be useful ... Re: DCC#53: Sellswords Of Punjar
I ordered this module today from my local game store A to Z Comics.
Hmmm ... now there's a place I haven't been to in many a year. Then again, with my odd work schedule and high gas prices I don't get out to Blue Springs very often anymore.

So if you have the choice, please patronize your local retailer on Free RPG Day. Normally I would ... but ... considering the lack of participation by the major game stores in my area ... guess I won't be. Of course considering Free Game Day happens to conflict with regularly scheduled Warhammer at...

And yet he goes on to say nothing about the prostitute encounter table in the back of the DMG. Some of the early fluffy bits such as tables like this were rumored to have been donated by Bob Bledsaw (Judges Guild) or so some of the stories go. A good example of some odd encounter tables would be th...

Re: Favorite Setting
My favorite is the Old (and recently revived) Judges Guild setting the Wilderlands, especially when connected with Dave Arneson's Blackmoor setting as it was in the First Fantasy Camapign. There are so many possibilities in the combined setting, low magic sword and sorcery, high magic, science fant...
