Dungeon Crawl Classics

Remember the good old days, when adventures were underground, NPCs were there to be killed, and the finale of every dungeon was the dragon on the 20th level? Those days are back. Dungeon Crawl Classics don't waste your time with long-winded speeches, weird campaign settings, or NPCs who aren't meant to be killed. Each adventure is 100% good, solid dungeon crawl, with the monsters you know, the traps you fear, and the secret doors you know are there somewhere.

All Dungeon Crawl Classics modules are 3.5 compatible, stand-alone, and world-neutral. They can be used in any campaign, or set in the default world of Áereth, an archetypal fantasy world introduced in DCC #35: Gazetteer of the Known Realms.

Dungeon Crawl Classics Open Tournament

At Gen Con Indy 2004 we started a grand tradition: running a team dungeon crawl tournament. The Annual Dungeon Crawl Classics Open Tournament pits more than 100 gamers in a brutal battle against a killer dungeon. And much fun is had by all! The official tournament modules are available for purchase several months after each tournament:

Be sure to sign up for the tournament at future Gen Cons!

Awards

The Dungeon Crawl Classics line has been repeatedly recognized for excellence.

Artists

We work with a number of classic TSR artists to help evoke the same feeling as the original TSR modules. Erol Otus, Jeff Dee, Jim Roslof, and Jim Holloway have all contributed to a number of Dungeon Crawl Classics modules. In the coming months we will be announcing the addition of another classic old-school artist to the lineup. You can check individual module descriptions to find which artists contributed to which modules.

Special Convention Modules

Yes, it's true: Dungeon Crawl Classics #3.5 does exist. We occasionally produce special-edition modules for conventions. Here are the special modules we've produced so far:

In addition, there is also Dungeon Crawl Classics #4.5: My Friend the Formian, a short adventure published in EN World Player's Journal #4, and Dungeon Crawl Classics: Deep Ruin, a short adventure published in Knights of the Dinner Table #117.
